🇰🇷 KR Section – Digital Korea: Identity, Language, and Parasocial Relations in the Age of Global Culture

This thematic talk explores how traditional Korean values—such as Confucianism, the emotional concept of han, and culturally specific language metaphors—manifest in modern digital culture.
Special focus will be placed on parasocial relationships between fans and idols in the K-pop scene and their influence on identity formation, language learning, and emotional engagement.
The talk will highlight the intersections of cultural patterns, language, and digital media in a global context.
