November 26, 2025 – Open Class: K-pop vs. C-pop
We warmly invite you to join an interactive open class with Chun Kong (CK) — DJ, Cantonese teacher, and researcher from Hong Kong, who bridges music, science, and culture.
🎶 K-pop vs. C-pop: exploring fandom, sound, and identity across East Asia
CK holds a PhD in Chemistry (University of Münster, Germany) and is active in the Hong Kong and European music scenes. His interests include Cantopop and Electronic Dance Music (EDM), and he regularly performs as a DJ. At Masaryk University, he teaches Cantonese and shares the beauty of Cantopop with students through language, music, and cultural exchange.
